About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting 2 Supply Planners to join our Warwick office. We are looking for technically strong planners who have excellent interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for building strong supplier relationships. You will also be responsible for planning, managing and delivering product availability from suppliers through to branches on a range of products to deliver key availability and stock KPIs. End to end ownership of stock and availability to deliver excellent customer OTIF, optimising supply chain efficiencies.


You will also be responsible for:

  • Manage a range of products for circa 5k skus, annual purchase value of £100m across 50 suppliers and inventory value of £10m
  • Manage, develop and build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet all measures
  • Manage supplier performance through frequent communication and collaborative working, giving additional focus to suppliers that are underperforming. Spending time at suppliers.
  • Day to day management of stock including branch replenishment to maximise availability within stock budget and improving the overall quality if stock holding.

  • Highly analytical and numerate
  • Strong organisational, decision making and presentation skills
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Proactive problem solver who seeks continuous improvement
  • Proven supply chain/inventory management/merchandising experience
  • Good influencing and communication skills to drive results across internal and external team
  • PC literate, confident using IT based solutions
