About the role:

Wolseley UK are recruiting a Senior Pricing Analyst, we are looking for an experienced Commercially minded Pricing Analyst who can identify and deliver pricing opportunities in order to drive margin and sales revenue improvements. You will be expected to identify margin upside opportunities through pricing, present these opportunities in a clear and concise way to senior management and to deliver these through cross-business collaboration. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step into a senior position and is eager for a challenge.

You will also be responsible for:

• Identifying and delivering pricing opportunities in order to drive margin and sales revenue improvements
• Scoping, designing and implementing pricing models and processes
• Modelling and analysing impacts of pricing decisions
• Maintaining and developing existing pricing platform
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with other internal departments including sales and commercial teams
• Supporting and deputising for the pricing manager in all aspects of pricing

What are we looking for:

• Previous experience within in a Pricing or Commercial Analytical role, working with large, complex data sets and to summarise and present commercial insights from the data.
• Previous experience dealing with large, complex datasets in a dispersed decision-making environment
• Commercial acumen combined with excellent analytical skills
• Must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel; Tableau and Alteryx knowledge would be an advantage
• B2B industry or complex commercial business experience would be an advantage
• Experience of leading or contributing significantly to cross-functional initiatives/projects.
• Professional, organised and ability to build strong relationships
