We’re looking for two proactive and dynamic Estimators to join our busy team in Swansea where you’ll be responsible for providing customers on a national basis with expert recommendations on products that fall within the industrial market sector.
This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
About the role
- To provide pipe, valve and fitting estimates to customers and produce accurate pricing and quotations to industrial customers
- Work closely with the Industrial Sales Team and line manager to develop the wider industrial offering.
- Provide technical & commercial support
- Promotes sales growth, by maximising margins and making best use of promotions
- Develops and maintains strong customer and supplier relationships, maximising ‘add-on’ sales
- Work with estimators and account managers to work out margins and prepare quote format
- Working closely within our branch network to coordinate stock
We’re recruiting for two estimators and ideally seeking for one of those positions candidates with previous estimator experience that have exposure to providing quotations for industrial pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) or selling PVF within Industrial Markets.
However, should you be a strong estimator from another industry we want to hear from you as industrial experience is not essential.
For our second position, estimating experience is not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with strong experience in a sales administration who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience. Any exposure to building long term relationships with customers and ability to identify and understand business opportunities would also be desirable.
This role will also involve inputting data so an intermediate level of experience in Excel will be required.
