About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting a Senior HR MI Analyst to join our Ripon HR Shared Service team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR / MI Analyst to take responsibility in delegating work priorities within the team and support in developing and delivering efficiency improvements of our Systems/MI capability for our customers.


You will be responsible for:


  • Daily, weekly, monthly prioritisation of MI team workload as well as Develop team KPIs to monitor performance and check they are adhered to and exceeded where appropriate.
  • Production and analysis of regular reports for stakeholders of the HR Service Centre, including key HR Management Information for the Wolseley UK Leadership Team.
  • Written and verbal presentation of data analysis in an informative manner, tailored to the needs of the customer at all levels of the organisation.
  • Design and develop ad hoc reports via Business Objects and manipulate data within Excel spreadsheets.
  • Continually checking and challenging regular/ ad hoc report content to ensure the right reports are being produced at the right time for the right customer base.
  • Support system development, including mandatory system upgrades, enhancements and new system implementations.

What we are looking for:


  • Previous experience of working as an MI Analyst / HR Analyst

  • Working knowledge of management reporting tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Excel, Access etc.

  • The ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data in order to provide concise, summarised analysis.

  • Experience of producing regular and ad-hoc management information for decision-making.

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint essential.

  • Previous experience supporting or leading a team.
