About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting an IT Incident Support and Service Continuity (DR) Analyst to join our Ripon office on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT individual who is looking to further their experience within IT support. You will be an escalation point for high impact, high profile incidents, following these through to a successful and timely resolution.  You will also be responsible for working with the team to maintain the on-going Disaster Recovery (DR) capability of Wolseley UK IT Services.


You will also be responsible for:


  • Taking a lead in managing Major Incidents, dealing with 3rd parties, communicating and updating the business and IT colleagues through to resolution.
  • Management of critical, high impact, high profile incidents through to a successful and timely resolution.
  • Building strong relationships across IT, the Business and Senior Management.
  • Help ensure the Incident Management and Service Continuity process is efficient, effective and adhered to across IT, driving process and service improvements initiatives where required
  • Undertake project participation as required to drive the Service Continuity process and agenda.
