Stock Controller

Stock Controller required to join our busy team in Newmains.


This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.



About the role

  • Office based job liaising with suppliers and customer over the phone and email
  • Procuring stock from the daily replenishment report
  • Booking in stock and reporting in shortages and discrepancies
  • Running and actioning stock reports
  • Updating stock level reports
  • Raising Purchase Orders to suppliers
  • Chasing supplier delivery dates
  • Matching up orders to acknowledgements, making sure everything is ordered correctly
  • General administration duties (including filing and ordering stationery)


About you


The ideal candidate will come from an admin background with a good level of PC literacy; especially in the use of Microsoft Excel. 

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to use their initiative and work on their own. 

A meticulous and organised approach to your work will ensure you effectively manage all administration and keep on top of stock levels at all times.
