We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to lead the development of our Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging solutions in this emerging market.

This is a national field-based role where you can be situated in any location within the UK.  It is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.


About the role

To develop our Electric Vehicle Charging offering to our existing and new customers


Working closely with our manufacturer to build our customer base and innovative product offering to customers


Identify new product and business opportunities in areas such as Wireless Charging, OLEV and Vehicle 2 Grid.


Work closely with other sales teams to maximise opportunities in our customer base.


Develop our stock profiles and technical expertise


Build close relationships within our branch network for localised stock profiles


This is an excellent opportunity which will be fast-paced and encourage you to demonstrate your expertise and innovative approach in new technologies and expand on our core offering in the Electric Vehicle Charging market.


About you

A technical knowledge of the EV market, chargers and products and a knowledge of the wider customer base within EV will be essential, as it will be key to developing our customer base and stock profiles.

Any experience in account management would be advantageous, but this is not essential as it is the technical EV knowledge that is central to this role.  We therefore welcome applications from candidates within EV charging manufacturers that are passionate about the market.  

Strong communication skills, personal drive and a passion for excellent customer service will be core to this role as this alongside an extensive technical knowledge of the industry, it will be central to building relationships with our customers
