Richard, the Branch Manager at our busy Kingsbridge branch is looking to recruit a hard working and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to become part of his supportive and knowledgeable team. 

This permanent role is offering 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm with alternating paid Saturdays, 8am -12pm (once fully trained). 

About the role

Your main duties would be: 

  • Serving customers on the trade counter
  • Answering phone queries 
  • Taking in deliveries 
  • Picking and packing in the warehouse 
  • Delivering orders to customers 

This is a varied role covering all areas of the branch, so you’ll be covering the warehouse and trade counter as needed, giving you a great opportunity to learn various aspects of the business. You will also be expected to support with customer deliveries, so a driving licence is essential. 

About you

We don’t expect you to be a sales ninja or technical expert. To be selected for telephone interview you must be able to demonstrate:

  • An understanding of great customer service
  • A team-working ethic – everyone contributes to the success of the branch
  • Good administrative skills to keep on top of the sales process and your customer orders
  • Industry experience would be desirable but not essential
  • Great communication skills, and a full driving licence is essential.
