The Role

As Branch Manager of one of Wolseley UK’s branches, you’ll be taking the lead role in this well-established operation based in Truro. Your brief in our branch will be to grow sales and profitability, whilst ensuring outstanding levels of service to our customer base. This will involve taking full budgetary responsibility, as well as leading, motivating and developing the branch team of sales advisors and warehouse assistants.

About You

You will be joining the UK’s leading supplier of plumbing and heating products and a major distributor of construction materials. Experience in this sector is not essential – our focus is on identifying individuals with proven experience in a similar managerial capacity. This includes:

  • passion for sales and margin growth
  • a commitment to providing a first-class customer service  
  • track record of successful business development
  • sound understanding of P&L through recent accountability
  • excellent people management and development approach
  • relationship building skills – both with your team and with customers

Additional Information:

A full driving licence is essential. Licence must be held for a minimum of 12 months.

Typical branch opening hours: 7:30-5:00pm Monday-Friday, 7:30-12:00pm Saturday
