The Role:

Hours 8-5pm Monday -Friday

Your role will be acting as a single point of contact to support orders from key accounts, one example of which could be an end seller of commercial refrigeration units, where Wolseley supplies the units and our customer fits the systems for their customers. You will need to liaise daily with your customer, other teams, Pipe and Climate branches across the UK and master our internal sales system in order to make sure your accounts orders are fulfilled quickly and efficiently. You will also receive quote requests from your account and speak with our suppliers to get the price for particular products should we not have them in stock.

The team has a friendly and bubbly dynamic and all look out for each other so you will be supported when workloads get busy.  

Key Responsibilities

  • To act as Single Point of Contact for allocated Key Accounts
  • Maintain excellent service levels at all times, ensuring a first class service to all  customers
  • Placing and management of customer orders and required after sales support, including the management of delivery information, customer queries, escalations and reporting.
  • Advise customer of stock and availability
  • Prioritise workload to ensure customer and internal SLAs are met
  • Ensure the Department is obtaining best price and availability wherever possible
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance
  • Maximise profit by promoting preferred suppliers

 The Successful Candidate:

You will ideally have some experience of account management or customer service regarding orders, communicating over phone and email. You must have a strong sense of good customer service and pride yourself on a job well done.

You should be able to communicate with lots of different people internal and external and build rapport. It is essential that you are able to cope with fluctuating workloads, sometimes it can get very busy, especially in Summer when cooling systems are more likely to break! It is also essential that you have good written communication skills and organisation skills to manage your work effectively.
