About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting an experienced and confident Finance Team Leader to join our Leamington Spa team. You will be responsible for controlling & managing the required team of Margin Improvement Administrators. You will be responsible for day to day planning of workflow volumes & resource to ensure the team are delivering targets in line with KPI’s & month end requirements.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Controlling day to day running of workflow, planning & motivating team to achieve daily targets
  • Following & adhering to audit controls on all aspects of Finance Business Support tasks
  • Completing direct reports 121’s, performance reviews, daily huddles & managing performance of direct reports along with keeping absences/ holidays up to date within my view
  • Positively building relationships with internal & external stakeholders, encouraging world class customer service throughout the team & champion our brand & ways of working
  • Identifying root cause & escalation path for resolution of tasks
  • Meeting deadlines in accordance with targets, reviewing & dealing with any issues, resolving any escalated issues from the business / stakeholders
  • Managing tasks which are relevant to the team & updating any process documents
  • Mentoring for all in direct & direct reports

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience of supervising a small team.
  • Experience of working in a finance capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills and can build rapport at all levels.
  • Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables and V look ups.
  • Self motivated & works with little supervision
