Customer Rebate Clerk

About the role:

Administration of Customer Rebates including production of customer contracts, monitoring of rebate calculations and ensuring that rebate payments to customers are made accurately on time. Completes scheduled reporting and analysis required, accurately and on time. Is efficient in providing data for non-scheduled reports as and when requested by stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Create and maintain a database for all rebates advising brands of renewal dates
  • Provides analysis and Maintenance of the customer rebate files across all brands of Wolseley UK
  • Run Trading Margin Reports and individual customer rebate instances on a daily basis to keep an accurate record of rebates using SAP Business Objects R3
  • Reporting to finance monthly on amounts of rebates due (accruals)
  • Maintenance of the customer rebate files across all brands of Wolseley UK
  • Ensure adherence with Wolseley UK rebate procedures
  • Produce accurate customer contracts based on approved customer rebate data
  • Administer customer correspondence and request rebates cheque requisitions
  • Analyse customer rebate data to assist in settlement of disputes and discrepancies
  • Identify and develop continuous improvement plans to lead areas of responsibility to World Class performance
  • Monitor sales and profit for each account to provide information for decision making


What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills
  • Previous administrative experience would be desirable
