About the role:

We are currently recruiting a Trainee Support Analyst to join our Ripon IT department. We are looking for confident individual who can communicate effectively whilst working in a high-volume IT team. You will be working as front-line support for IT related issues, taking incoming calls from Wolseley employees discussing IT issues. You will be providing an excellent service whilst ensuring you are gaining the relevant information to resolve the issue or escalate through to second line support.


You will also be responsible for:

  •  Taking incoming calls from Wolseley employees.
  • Adhere to the Problem Management process
  • Participate in the Change and Config Processes if and when required
  • Feed into change, incident and problem reviews if required


What we are looking for:

  • Previous customer service or service desk experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills (consensus building, conflict resolution, etc)
  • Significant  experience of working in a Service Desk and Incident Management environment
  • Good knowledge of ITIL-based processes preferable
