About the role:


We are looking for an experienced Rewards Analyst who can provide specialist reward support to the Reward Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the reward projects, including policy development, data analysis and new process implementation as well as providing advice and guidance to the HR community as and when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Rewards experience looking to work part time. We are looking for someone who can work 18-20 hours per week.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide comprehensive and proactive Reward BAU (e.g. annual salary review and flexible benefits renewal support).  A particular focus will be managing the data aspects.
  • Support Reward projects by providing analytical support.  This will involve interrogation of internal and external reward statistics to identify relevant themes, draw conclusions and to help develop recommendations.
  • Provide face to face advice and resolve HR People Center calls that are reward related escalating to the Reward Manager as required.
  • Complete annual salary surveys, liaising with HR colleagues and the business to ensure timely completion and return. Provide analysis of the results to show how Wolseley UK compares to the market.
  • Support the Reward Manager on the development and implementation of new systems/processes and improvement of current systems/processes.
  • Manage employee benefits administration.  This will include refreshing communication materials, process improvement, data uploads and liaising with other functions as needed (e.g. payroll, finance etc.)
  • Provide reports and analysis as required and present the results clearly and creatively, to help HR and managers reach acceptable, affordable and consistent salary and bonus decisions.

 

You will have:

  • Strong reward analytical skills, with good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel at advanced level along with Word and PowerPoint at Intermediate level.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to targets, achieve objectives and meet deadlines regardless of pressure of work.
  • Experience of operating with highly confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding / or experience of, reward cost and benefit analysis.
  • Effective communication skills both orally and in writing and ability to target content for the audience.
  • Good influencing skills, face-to-face and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a small team but can also use own initiative to resolve most problems.

Desirable:

  • HR and/or reward related qualification.
  • Retail and/or building materials distribution experience.
