About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting a Integration Lead to join our Ripon office. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional product development teams (including 3rd parties and offshore teams) to design develop and enhance software assets that meet or exceed internal and external (customer) expectations, and meet product functionality, cost and delivery schedules. You will also be required to leverage existing technologies and where relevant introduce new technologies that align to the overall Wolseley strategy.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Work closely with the Solution Architects in promoting new technologies / design patterns through the EAE.  Ensuring our SOA Reference Architecture is adhered throughout our design and development work.
  • Lead, coach, Develop and support Integration Developers, contractors and 3rd parties
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle including Testing.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with specifications.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
  • Development of standards and enforcing them across internal and external teams.
  • Develop assigned colleagues so that they can develop in line with their abilities and aspirations.


What we are looking for:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion development environment, enterprise solutions development and automated build, test and deploy tools
  • Previous experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
  • Experience delivering complex enterprise software.
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and SDLC
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills (consensus building, conflict resolution, etc.
