About the role:

You will be responsible for Working within a busy Systems/MI Team, a significant proportion of time will be dedicated to developing and delivering exceptional quality HR reports and analysis to the wider HR Function and other business customers, utilising all systems within the HR Service Centre. You will also be linking closely to the customer, understand their requirements and challenge where appropriate. The role will develop and maintain the Systems/ MI Team KPIs to drive a performance culture and suggest efficiency improvements. You will be supporting the HR Programme & Service Delivery Manager to ensure processes and systems are managed and up dated to offer the best possible customer service to customers across all levels of the business.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Production and analysis of regular reports for stakeholders of the HR Service Centre, including key HR Management Information for the Wolseley UK Leadership Team.
  • Interpreting HR/ Payroll information for the production of reports, including trend analysis, assessing data, suggesting recommendations and assumptions.
  • Written and verbal presentation of data analysis in an informative manner, tailored to the needs of the customer at all levels of the organisation.
  • Production and analysis of ad hoc reports requested by HR, key business people and senior management in a timely and accurate manner.


What we are looking for:

  • Working knowledge of management reporting tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Excel, Access etc.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in problem solving and process mapping, trend analysis.
  • The ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data in order to provide concise, summarised analysis.
  • Experience of producing regular and ad-hoc management information for decision-making.
  • Ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint essential.
  • Strong customer service mentality and demonstrative experience.
