About the role:


Wolseley UK are recruiting a qualified Finance Manager to join our Financial accounting team in Ripon. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, confident and technical Accountant to manage a small team and take full ownership of Wolseley UK bonus and pay incentives from a finance perspective. You will be supporting the Senior Finance Manager and will drive forward monthly accuracy of the Wolseley UK numbers and associated process improvement.


You will also be responsible for:


  • Managing relationships with HR, Payroll, Reward as well as Senior Managers within the business.
  • Managing a team of 3 including 1-2-1’s, appraisals and driving the team to deliver month end reviews.
  • Responsible for calculating all bonus and incentive schemes including complex incentive schemes and payroll costs, including bonus.
  • Technical balance sheet accounting
  • Maintaining compliance with group accounting policies.
  • Review of statutory web forms and coordination and year end tour meeting report.


What we are looking for:


  • A qualified Finance professional in either ACCA, ACA or equivalent
  • Excellent communicator and can influence and build relationships with all individuals.
  • Highly experienced technical Accountant
  • Experience of coaching and supporting peers or staff members
