About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting a Transactional Finance Team Leader to join our Ripon office on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to lead a team and really drive process improvements. You will be responsible for controlling & managing the required team of Finance Business Support clerks, you will be responsible for day to day planning of workflow volumes & resource to ensure the team are delivering targets in line with KPI’s & month end requirements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Controlling day to day running of workflow, planning & motivating team to achieve daily targets
  • Following & adhering to audit controls on all aspects of Finance Business Support tasks
  • Completing direct reports 121’s, performance reviews, daily huddles & managing performance of direct reports
  • Positively building relationships with internal & external stakeholders, encouraging world class customer service throughout the team & champion our brand & ways of working
  • Identifying root cause & escalation path for resolution of tasks

What we are looking for:

  • Previous team leader experience
  • Strong Word, Excel & powerpoint skills
  • Naturally inquisitive with an ability to think outside the box & embracing changes
  • Focus on audit controls
  • Self-motivated & works with little supervision
  • Able to multitask & work under pressure
  • High attention to detail
