About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a newly qualified/part qualified accountant to join a FTSE 100 business in North Yorkshire. The business is going through exciting times with an investment of £100m recently announced to transform its customer proposition.
Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, the role is to operate the compliance function for Wolseley UK and subsidiaries, in particular taking responsibility for general tax compliance and statutory accounts. There are exciting opportunities in a wide variety of tax and compliance processes, working closely with the operational business to ensure financial control compliance.
This role would be an ideal first move out of small practice and would suit a newly qualified or part qualified graduate. This role will have regular interaction with the plc team, subsidiaries, branches, project teams and Business Partners offering wide scope for business interaction.
