About the role:

We are currently recruiting a Change and Configuration Analyst to assist in the IT Change and Configuration processes, providing analytical and administrative support to the Change & Configuration Manager in ensuring successful operation of the Change & Configuration Management function.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Assist with administering all aspects of the Change and Configuration Management processes and policies across Wolseley UK, initiating approval at appropriate levels
  • Liaise with supporting workgroups and 3rd parties, helping to ensure that the recording & classifying of all types of Change is carried out accurately, effectively and efficiently
  • Promote the use of the Change and Configuration Management processes and the benefits of their successful operation, helping to ensure that IT staff understand their role within, and adhere to, these processes
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that urgent changes are progressed in a timely manner and assist with verifying, assessing and reviewing all emergency changes
  • Contribute to discussions, initiatives and documentation to continually improve the Change and Configuration Management processes and policies
  • Contribute to the production, interpretation, publication and review of metrics against all types of Change, utilising this data to help drive improvements across the function
  • Contribute to preparation for, and participate in, the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, communicating the approval and scheduling of changes and reviewing all types of change as appropriate
