About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting 2 Internal Business Development Managers who will be responsible for driving the growth of sales and margin of Own Brand products through the Wolseley UK branch network. You will also be working closely with the sales teams and branch colleagues to effectively implement the Own Brand plans.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Influence and support Area Managers, Branch Managers and Branch teams to improve Own Brand sales within individual branches and areas 
  • Ensure branches are effectively merchandising Own Brand products in line with guidelines and providing technical support, expertise and Aftersales support on Own Brand products to branches and sales teams
  • Train and coach branch and sales staff - arrange and facilitate as appropriate. This also includes providing support and presenting at Area/Regional meetings

About you:

  • Able to proactively influence key internal and external parties including senior level 
  • Experience of plumbing and heating market and products within 
  • Willing to take a proactive approach in order to deliver product and brand information to branches  
  • Drive to grow Own Brand sales  
  • Willing to travel
  • Previous experience working in an internal sales role. 
  • Strong communication skills.
