About the role

This role will provide finance business partnering support to the Commercial function focussed on outbound pricing to customers.  Ultimately the role will be responsible for identifying a range of solutions and actions that will improve gross margin and the overall financial performance of the business. Also, a key priority will be to work with the finance business partners for Sourcing & Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure the business maximises gross profit through the interrelation of inbound pricing from suppliers and outbound pricing to customers.


About you

  • Fully qualified in either ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • High degree of commercial acumen
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills – solution-focused approach
  • High degree of integrity with a clear focus upon delivering work to the highest possible professional standards with a high-level of attention to detail and a clear focus upon accuracy
  • Able to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders
  • Experience of working as a service provider for internal stakeholders.  Willing to take a customer-centric approach and to focus upon collaborative cross-functional working
  • Strong communicator, both in oral and written form, as well as an effective presenter – able to provide information in clear yet commercial terms
  • Resilient when faced with increased work pressure and / or resistance from stakeholders and internal customers
  • Flexible and adaptable approach when tackling people and commercial issues in the business – able to work at pace and deal with ambiguity
  • Works to strict deadlines, with a clear focus upon prioritisation of work streams and resources
  • Team ethic with ability and passion for developing team members
  • Experience of delivering process improvement initiatives.
