The Role:

To sell the concept of eBusiness and Multichannel solutions to large customers, working in conjunction with the business unit sales teams. The scope of the job is to build internal relationships with the sales teams, promoting eBusiness to larger customers and drive improved processes. Selling of solutions to drive sales and profit, whilst working to be the easiest and most seamless merchant to do business with.

You will be responsible for:

  • To work with internal teams and customers to implement process improvements using eBusiness solutions
  • To work with line management to implement new or improved systems and products into the business and added to the service offering.
  • To educate  the business on the services on offer, and ensure sales team are equipped with the basic knowledge to introduce those services to the customer
  • Identify and support opportunities for improved synergies and cross business working
  • To suggest a course of action to account managers and customers where it is possible that that an eSolution would improve cost to serve, grow share of wallet or improve customer stickiness
  • To support team member colleagues as and when required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • To pursue a path of Self Development including where applicable the attendance of any training and development programmes requested by the Company, and encourage others to do the same


What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a sales role or experience working closely with customers
  • History within the Wolseley UK business units a definite advantage
  • Ability to sell a concept with benefits, suggest best course of action and resolution
  • Knowledge of Wolseley UK branch systems an advantage
  • IT Literate
  • Excellent numerate & literate skills
  • Analytical and focus to question the status quo
