About the role

As a Branch Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for developing the branch processes and procedures required to operate the back of house for up to 40 Transport Hub branches, while creating a repeatable model for the surrounding branches to follow. As a part of this development the role will be required to implement a new pattern and new ways of working while motivating and developing the branch team to maintain clean and safe working conditions within the warehouse. You will work with the branch leadership team to implement the physical, process and working time changes required in the branches to transform them to a transport hub ensuring that goods in/out and stock management are dealt with safely, accurately and efficiently.


About you

  • Project, warehouse and people management experience - will have between 2- 4 direct line reports
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Computer literate will high numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work with minimum management oversight
  • Be a proven team leader and player as required
  • Skilled in people management and influencing to achieve the best results
  • Takes a hands-on approach to achieving the deliverables and goals
  • Multi-tasking, self-motivated and team orientated
  • Goal driven with a ‘get the job done’ attitude
  • Organised and logical in the execution of tasks and actions
  • Flexible with regards to working hours including shift working through the night
  • Flexible with regards to working location, including various branches across the UK
  • Good numerical skills
  • Work to the highest standards with minimal supervision
  • Be a proven team leader and player as required
  • Advanced product knowledge of specific products sold by the business desirable
  • Good knowledge of Wolseley UK systems e.g. Wolcen desirable
