About the role
Responsible for providing customers with expert advice on products that fall within their market sector, leading to sales within the branch. Maintaining high levels of customer service to maximise sales potential. Dealing with customer requirements and ensuring completion of the associated administrative processes. Is trained by suppliers to recommend products and applications.
The role will involve dealing with customer orders and enquiries and following up quotations to ensure customer requirements / expectations are always met.
To be selected for telephone interview you will ideally be able to demonstrate;
o Pipe, Fittings and Flanges knowledge and experience.
o Basic knowledge and understanding of Valves and actuations
o Able to understand basic process/systems
o Ideally some basic engineering knowledge/experience
o Ability to identify and understand business opportunities, and to build long term relationships with customers on this basis;
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
o Intermediate spreadsheet capability.
